Gwen J. Portnoy has been practicing law as a solo practitioner since 1979.  Almost a native Tucsonan, she graduated from Tucson High School.  She attended the University of Arizona, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1961.  After practicing as an accountant for 10 years, Gwen returned to the University of Arizona Law School and received her Juris Doctorate degree.  She was admitted to the Arizona Bar on October 13, 1979.

Gwen's law practice has included criminal law, estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, divorce, civil suits, corporate formations, name changes, real estate, contracts, foreclosure, and product liability.  She also has a strong background in accounting and tax matters.  Gwen is licensed to practice law before the United States Tax Court.  She has experience with federal, state, and corporate income taxes, and Guardianships & Conservatorships.

A long time resident of Tucson, Gwen is committed to Tucson.  She ran as a write-in candidate for Mayor of Tucson in 1991.  Gwen is now focusing her practice of law on divorce, estate planning, probate, wills, trusts, and Income Tax preparation.
